Every morning after Masako is awake she can hardly wait for dance class ot begin.
Of course she cannot practice those nasty provoctive dances the Tayuu used to do in old Edo, but there are so many she has yet to learn that does not matter.
Masako - longs - to - be - one - of - the - most - talented - and - asked - for - geisha - dancers. To - her - to - be - able - to perform - these - old - traditional - dances - to - perfection - and - in - front - of - others - in - the - ozashiki - and - hopefully - in - time - on - a - stage - with - a - group - of - professionals - will - truly - be - her - dearest - dream - came - true.

Every morning, Yukie walked with her sisters from the okiya to the Kaburenjou. They didn't all have the same classes at the same time, but all the junior maiko had to be at the Kaburenjou (the name of the geisha school in Pontocho) at the same time each morning: one hour after the minarai had to show up. That was the slim advantage of a misedashi - two extra hours of sleep over the shikomi and minarai. The youngest of a hanamachi had to rise early to do chores before attending class.
